Kyril, Prince of Preslav, Duke of Saxony (born 11 July 1964), is the second son of Tsar Simeon II of Bulgaria and his wife Doña Margarita Gómez-Acebo y Cejuela. The title Prince of Preslav has been the title for the second son of Bulgarian monarchs since 1908. He served as regent of Bulgaria beginning in 2008 when his brother was injured in a car accident in Madrid. With the death of Kardam II he continued to serve as regent until his nephew Boris IV attained the age of majority on 12 October 2015.
